i live in south florida. i am the wife of omar and the mother of elisha, asher, and lenna.

i have degrees in classics and biblical studies and put them to good use when i wander through the ancient greek exhibits at museums and when naming my children.

i love to read and talk about theology, politics, music, food, the ethics of food production, justice issues, and what it means to keep a house.

i also craft a bit and am particularly interested in printing on fabrics.  i would like to knit and crochet a bit more but am often at a loss as to what to make when living in the tropics.
